What wholesale buyers and brands can expect

Pixie’s Distribution is the business-to-business trade identity for developing relationships with authorized suppliers and qualified retailers. It focuses on usable product data, clear terms, reliable communications, and realistic distribution economics rather than a long catalog that buyers cannot trust.

Distribution rights, products, order minimums, territory limitations, and availability must be confirmed for each supplier. This trade name does not function as the legal parent of the founder’s other projects.

The vision

Pixie’s Distribution is the professional wholesale side of the retail experience: a relationship-first B2B operation for qualified retailers and commercial buyers. It aims to connect carefully selected makers with shops and operators who want accurate catalogs, fair commercial terms, low-friction communication, and product education that makes buying easier.

The problem worth solving

Independent retailers—especially in smaller communities—can struggle with high minimums, hard-to-understand SKU lists, unresponsive distributors, missing images, and unclear shipping costs. Manufacturers also need trustworthy downstream representation. A transparent, lean distribution platform can address both sides of that mismatch.

Program and operating workstreams

  • Brand authorization: keep a record of specific product lines, distribution rights, territories, MAP and marketing permissions.
  • Master catalogs: maintain clean parent/variant products, images, descriptions, costs, case packs, stock, and source provenance.
  • Qualified accounts: apply resale-certificate and business-type review appropriate to the offered products.
  • Retailer outreach: map local B2B opportunity by store category and buyer role, not by assumptions about individuals.
  • Logistics: distinguish on-hand, drop-shipped, and special-order products and disclose lead times, returns, and shipping costs.
  • Education and merchandising: provide compatible product information, selling points, and safe use guidance to stores.
  • Multichannel development: evaluate Shopify, permitted marketplaces, and retailer catalog feeds with each channel’s policies in mind.

Business or funding model

The core revenue model is product distribution: purchase or source authorized goods, fulfill qualified orders, and earn a margin after supplier cost, shipping, payment processing, handling, taxes, returns, and support. Other possibilities include co-marketing or training engagements when independently contracted. Manufacturer interest is not the same as signed authorization; actual brand counts and rights require ongoing reconciliation.

Development priorities

  • Complete the authorization ledger and supported brand/product catalog for each sales channel.
  • Publish clear wholesale account application criteria and buying instructions.
  • Validate wholesale pricing, margins, minimums, and logistics with real orders.
  • Document account management, order-to-fulfillment tracking, and returns.
  • Build this portfolio section to invite serious commercial, research, and strategic relationships.

Who we want to hear from

Manufacturers, specialty retailers, convenience operators where permitted, independent sales agents, hospitality buyers, merchandising services, catalog-data partners, and wholesale logistics providers.
